Our first dressage show riding a horse that didn’t trot.

In 2010 I stumbled upon the concept of gaited dressage in competition by accident. I saw a listing for a schooling dressage show not far from my house. I called the show secretary and asked if I could ride my gaited horse using flat walk in lieu of trot. She agreed and I’ve been hooked on showing my gaited horse at schooling dressage shows ever since.
